A word about our patterns: Our children's rocking horse plans (as well
as our hundreds of other plans for toys, clocks and crafts) are full size
woodworking blueprints complete with instructions to guide you along to build any of the rocking horses shown here. We
also supply trim packs of the bridle, mane, eyes, vinyl and more to detail these
rocking horses. We have been providing these project plans and others for

Rocking Horses are the classic traditional woodworking project. Our full size

horse plan features fancy bridle, saddle and stirrup design. The

Rolling Charlie Horse
A delightful toy for toddlers, our foot propelled horse is very easy to build
with the full size plan. The minimal tools required are sabre saw, router and drill. Of course the more advanced your tools, the easier construction is. Made
of 5/4 pine, if you have only
thicker material you can still build this project making minor layout changes as
you may require. This fun rolling
horse is designed to be sat upon and propelled by foot action. The seat height is 12" . Overall size is 24" x 19". If you cannot make the 6"
wheels yourself, you can easily substitute
our 5-1/4" diameter wheels available on our wood parts page. The trim pack for
this project contains eyes,
