The project patterns below are not really toys or furniture as such.
Rather these projects  are most likely to be displayed on your mantel,
in a curio cabinet or on your desk. Some of them are very challenging
and require advanced woodworking skill.
Any of them will be welcome addition to your  collection.

                    Mr Gumball
Neat project drops a candy out his mouth when you twist his ear. Trim pack has eyes, nose, ears and globe. Globe is ribbed (not crystal clear) plastic. Very safe.

                 Trolley Car Plan
Full size wood project plan to build this classic trolley car. Such a nice piece, you may want to use it for display instead of play. The available trim pack has wheels and axle pegs. Size is 4" x7" x15".

         Antique Ford Plans
Use our full size plans to build these classic Ford Model A and Pickup Truck. These 2 projects make great toys and even greater display pieces. Shown made from pine, you may wish to construct these antique autos with contrasting woods . Each auto measures about 12 inches long. The available trim pack contains the wood wheels and axle pegs.

Another challenging project, this carriage requires plenty of scroll work, as you make the wheels and frame by hand. This replica of an 1800's English Carriage is 10" long.

                 Covered Wagon
This wagon style was used in the Westward Journey. An advanced level project which requires intricate detail work. Note the barrel, rifle, saw, working brake control and much more. Trim pack has brass stock and is available with premade wheels. (Plan details making wheels as shown or use the premade ones..different style) Size 7" tall x 17" long.

                 '48 Ford Woody
An advanced level woodworker's project that will offer many hours of challenging detail work, our Woody looks best when made of cherry, maple and walnut. The full size detailed plan will guide you as you create this demanding piece .The trim pack has some stock items used to make some of the detailed pieces. Measures 16" long.

                 1922 Fire Truck
A very rewarding and detailed advanced woodcraft level project. You will be making by hand all the pieces such as siren, spotlight, axes, extinguishers, shift levers, ladders and much more following the pattern. Construct of contrasting woods to make a stunning masterpiece. This 1922 Int'l Harvester Fire Truck is 8"w x 26" l x 10"h. The trim pack has axle pegs and the inner three inch spoke wheels( you will make the outer tires as detailed on plan ), the small brass screws, escutcheon pins and hooks used in construction.

                 An exciting marble maze device you make that will amuse and enchant. Marbles cascade down and around a network of troughs, ramps and over  a xylophone. They ring bells, spin paddles and trip levers. Children of all ages are captivated by the action of the fun action mechanism. A challenging project for the advanced wood crafter.

More fun and thrilling action marble mazes, Watch in awe as the marbles zig-zag down the maze.. The arched model features 2 directions for the marble to drop as it loops, swirls and spins paddles. The marbles neatly collect at the bottom ready to be used again. You get both projects in this pattern set.                 Table Top Kaleidoscope
The optics are easy to build using first (front) surface mirrors which will reproduce vivid color and dazzling patterns. Mirror sources are listed. A geared shaft allows rotating the object box from the viewing end.  Even with the rounded parts, no lathe work is required.  Base size 12" x 8", scope is 10" h.

               Steamer Trunk......With A Twist
Except for hinges and brass pin accents, everything
is wood including handles, brackets, latches and a lock. Even the realistic wrap-around leather cinch belts are wood. Pine, Walnut, Oak, and other species should be used  to create contrast.                    A distinctive automobile highly favored by the well-to-do in the 1920's & 30's.  The sleek styling can be reproduced with power and hand tools. Lathe work required. The contoured components are shaped using a router and sanding. Three wheel styles are outlined in the plans including one with realistic criss-crossing spokes. The pattern includes instructions for the gasoline pump. A beautiful display piece for the advanced crafter. Size 19" long x 6" high x 7" wide.

        Two of the first trains to pave the way for modern railroading. The Trevithick, developed by Richard Trevithick and the Rocket, machined by George Stevenson take us to the early 1800's when steam engines began to replace horse pulled

    Iron Horse Train Plans This train is inspired by the grand locomotives of the 1870's shortly after the East met the West at Promontory, Utah. The detailed step by step text takes you from the engine and tender car to the passenger car and display base which is adorned with real rocks. It is a classic showpiece.
